Comedian, Actor, Writer & Emmy-Winning Producer

Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Ron G. is an accomplished comedian, actor, writer, host, and Emmy-winning producer. He has entertained audiences worldwide with his “high energy and cleverness – with an urban flair” performances. 


After finishing his dual degrees in finance and management at the University of South Carolina, he began his stand-up career in Atlanta. He was crowned first-place winner in the Sierra Mist Late Night Laff Off. He later moved to Los Angeles, where his talent shined as a finalist in Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes? and Last Comic Standing. 


Ron G. has appeared in Martin Lawrence’s 1st Amendment, Comics Unleashed, Mulaney, Key & Peele, Chelsea Lately, and Kevin Hart Presents: The Next Level. Fans have also been able to catch Ron G. on the HBO hit television show Insecure, and he has guest starred on numerous television shows, including Stuck in the Middle, Love Daily, and Shut Eye. Ron G. moved into the producing world and has won an Emmy for his work on the second season of CNN’s United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell. In 2019, Ron G. and world-renowned life coach and author Donald Bell teamed up for the 2 Piece Podcast, discussing manhood, relationships, and personal growth. 


Most recently, Ron G. starred as Lewis in Nickelodeon’s Cousins for Life and is currently playing Mekhi, the brother of MC Lyte, on the new hit show Partners in Rhyme. Lastly, he was recently in the star-studded #2 Movie at the box office, "80 for Brady." 


While Ron G. has many accomplishments on stage, his greatest joy is being is a dedicated husband to his wife of four (4) years and a father to his 3-month-old son. He is devoted to representing God through everything he touches. When he isn’t on a stage, he is passionate about mentoring the next generation of young men to be mentally and emotionally healthy. However, If you asked Ron G. about his mission, he’d say it’s letting people know how dope marriage is - IF you choose the right person! Choosing right starts by working on yourself. His approach to helping people find this desired outcome is through vulnerability, sharing his failures, and having
