Mother, international preacher, leadership consultant, certified life coach, author, mentor, and founder of Women Empowered in the Millennium and The Empowerment Circle, Dr. Angela Corprew Boyd, affectionately called, Dr. Angie, is a change agent who empowers others to fulfill their destinies. Amazon Best Selling Author, she has several books, If I Perish, Let Me Perish, But I’m Next, Church Hurt: The Wounded Trying to Heal, a co-author in Removing the Fear, a collaboration with eleven fearless women on their journey from fear to freedom, and Amazon #1 Best Seller, Don’t Curse Your Crisis, an anthology of fifteen empowered writers who share their crises of victory. She is also the founder and host of Empowerment with Dr. Angie, a talk show that celebrates women’s work and motivates viewers by sharing words of empowerment. In addition, she is the host of the annual Returning to your First Love Retreat in Virginia. She was recently recognized in Virginia by ACHI Magazine as Mentor of the Year. She desires to empower, equip, and enhance the lives of men, women, and youth as they execute their gifts and talents. She is a sought-after speaker, mentor, and professional life coach. Dr. Corprew Boyd received her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education with a minor in Public Speaking from Old Dominion University, a Master of Arts from Norfolk State University in Administration/Personnel Management, and an earned doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. She served in Chesapeake Public Schools for over 30 years as a teacher, assistant principal, and human resources administrator. She has also worked as an academic vice-principal in the United Arab Emirates and in leadership with Cornerstone International Church in Abu Dhabi. Dr. Corprew Boyd serves in leadership at “The Mount Chesapeake” under the leadership of Bishop Kim W. Brown and Elder Dr. Valerie K. Brown. As an associate minister, she serves as Director of internships of the Minister’s In Training Program, and an Online and Stream Team Chat Host for Virtual viewers.
She immensely loves parenting three adult children and three grandchildren.
